I’m Taylor, the licensed CPA behind Small Fry's bookkeeping and fractional controller services for small businesses across Salt Lake and Utah County. With over a decade of corporate accounting experience, I don’t specialize in tax, but I ensure your books are clean, accurate, and fully prepared for your tax professional. Before launching Small Fry, I built my career across demanding industries within real estate, transportation, logistics, SaaS, and banking. I've managed portfolios exceeding $400M, worked within complex multi-entity structures, and ultimately rose to Assistant Controller at a company with over $3B in assets.

Based in Draper, Utah with my amazing wife and our two chocolate labradors (the inspiration behind the logo), I received my Bachelors in Accounting from the University of Utah and my MBA from the University of Colorado, Boulder. I'm a former college soccer goalkeeper and in my free time I’m an enthusiastic but highly unremarkable golfer (my scorecard keeps me humble).
